HISTORY OF GOVERNMENT IN POM VILLAGE, IN PAPUA, ON YAPEN ISLAND

FIRST period.
In 1617 Pelaar Protugis entered the bay with boats Motor yava and the first time the Portuguese flag on the peninsula AIBABISOREI peninsula which is now called the Flag. Then the ship held its first expedition to the island Miosnum, people who joined the expedition Poom is Sumoi Berotabui, Samandai Kadiwaru and Mangkewa Heipon.

In the Year 1628 Tidore Sultan Muhammad ordered King of the Four Babullah sail and give the titles in the land of Papua as Koranu, Sangaji and interpreter. Pom especially for people who received the titles include:

1. Abdi Sangaji Berotabui Hemorrhoids.
2. Korano Abobri Kapitarau.
3. Interpreter Wayamboi Berotabui.

SECOND period.
In 1873 the gospel and Chinese merchants entered in Pom and then in 1909 the School of Civilization in the open at Poom. In 1928 Bethel First Church Building was built by Albertus Karubai.

In 1923 the Government of the Netherlands put Hiadia District Government based in West Yapen Poom and Bistur Penturi as Head First District. In the year 19 23 as well as the government informed the village elders, among other things:

  • Paul Heipon.
  • Zacharias Heipon.
4. Old Village Clan or Family name ( Keret) Paririe.
  • Hendrik Paririe.
  • Andarias Paririe.

Period TO THREE
In the Year 1942/1943 Koreri movement emerged the office buildings in the district and pertugas Koreri grilled by officers left their bases and when iru Japanese entry in the Gulf or village with warships DIKSENTAI Poom, Poom Japanese residents should plan on fuel discharged for engaging Koreri movement but the Lord does not want, then this village in the rescue by a Japanese flag that is given by Mr. UNUMDERA to people Poom.

FOURTH period.
On May 1, 1963 the Dutch handed West Irian to the bosom of the Republic of Indonesia. In 1969 Act of Free Choice (Choice) Poom people who participated as a member of DMP, namely:

1. Alex Berotabui.
2. Arius Paul Kadiwaru.
3. Marten Kapitarau.

2. Joab Kadiwaru. (Secretary)
3. Elias Beroperai. (Kaur of Government)
4. Benoni Paririe. (Kaur Development)
5. Ottow Hiowati. (Kaur Finance)
6. Eliatin Hoor (General Kaur)

The third village in composition in 1996 as follows:
1. Elias Beroperai (Village Chief).
2. Yakonias Berotabui (Secretary).
3. Gasper Airi (Kaur of Government).
4. Judah Kadiwaru (Kaur Welfare)
5. Berotabui Celsius (Kaur Development).
6. Paul Heipon (General Kaur).

On 17 September 2000 Elias Beroperai brother died, then the secretary in name as official.

Statement (Mr Yakonias Berotabui). "A big question in the hearts Secretary Village".


Change period

After the increase of population in the bay area airany the village or village expansion is done, the changes in the 1990's, formerly a single leadership, turned into three villages or neighborhoods in between; Pom Village I, Village and Village Serewen Pom II.


Residents deployment Pom
The spread of the villagers or the village pump, scattered in several places in between, Miosnum (New Village), bompeni and Ausem (Now, District Wonawa, 2008 - District Yerui, 2011).
